I played an amazing festival today. The weather was cold and rainy but people still showed up. I spent some time with a bunch of friends and the music was so great. This is my favorite way to spend the day.
But the most amazing thing is that some Weird Folk drove 2 1/2 hours to hang out with me. These are friends that I know so well and talk to almost everyday but I’ve never met them in person. Now when I go live for my breakfast streams on Facebook and say good morning, I will know the faces that go with the names.
I am so grateful that I get the opportunity to play music for people. The music was amazing but it can’t compare with spending time with some of my Weird Folk family. It was a good day.
