November 14, 2021 I got rather creative when I was working in the studio for the Busted Banjo project. I knew the sounds that I wanted to hear even when I didn’t have the instruments that would make that sound. The bass needed to sound like “vrump, vrump, vrump.” So that is what I did. My track called Joyous Noise on a Busted Banjo included a vrump track. The always engaging vrump made a return for my song called Oddballs, Old Friends, and Weird Folk. This track didn’t make it onto the record but maybe someday it will get released. In the meantime, here is a video clip featuring some studio magic that made the vrump possible.
